Records of type Object represent objects or properties. Their main usage is to group areas belonging to the same object or property.

Address

An object record has a single Address, specified by the respective address fields. In some situation, buildings have more than one address - for example, if a property has several entrances at crossing streets. In such situations, we recommend to specify the correct address at the Area records which belong to the respective entrance. Virtual Areas may be used to group areas accordingly.

Furnising

Object records can be related to Furnishing, i. e. Rooms, Features, and Interior. Attach furnising records to objects if they apply to each area in the given object.

Energy Certificates

Objects can be related to Energy Certificates. See the article on Energy Certificates for more information.

Remarks

In many cases, adjacent systems have the exclusive right to create records of type Object. Using some interface technology, these external records are automatically replicated to for.REALESTATE. In such cases, users are not allowed to create new object records at their desire within for.REALESTATE. In such cases, the Create priviledge for the object entity should be given to administrative users, only.
